Geographic terms

• Geological regions =   they have same kind of rocks
• Rapids       =   areas of greatly disturbed areas of a river, unlike  waterfalls rapids are the result of continuous and relatively gentle slope rather than a sudden vertical drop
• Geomorphology     =    scientific study of land forms and process that shape them/ study of the evolution and configuration of land forms 
• Gradients     =   slope/ incline
• Relief     = change in elevation over a given area of land
• Moraine =  any glacially formed accumulation of unconsolidated glacial debris /soil/rock
• Fluvial  = deposits and land form created by rivers
